Proposal Guidelines for Project Juliet
At Project Juliet, we are dedicated to fostering innovative approaches to pediatric neurological education and training. Our grants are designed to support proposals that aim to make the greatest possible impact by reaching a broad audience of students, trainees, attending physicians, and healthcare professionals.We encourage applicants to develop comprehensive and engaging educational programs that prioritize accessibility, effectiveness, and innovation. Proposals with a focus on creating sustainable and scalable solutions will receive priority consideration.

Preferred Educational Curriculum Components
While we are open to a variety of creative and impactful proposals, preference will be given to projects that incorporate the following elements:

Electronic Learning Modules: Develop interactive, user-friendly online modules that can be accessed remotely, offering flexibility and scalability for participants.

High-Fidelity Simulations: Implement realistic, scenario-based simulations to enhance training and prepare healthcare professionals for real-world neurological cases.
​
Skills Training: Focus on hands-on practice for critical skills, such as neurologic examinations, lumbar punctures, and other essential diagnostic techniques.


Proposal Requirements
To ensure that each project is well-structured and impactful, all proposals should include the following:

1. Background Information
Provide a comprehensive overview of the problem you aim to address, the population it will serve, and the significance of your proposed educational program. Highlight the current gaps in pediatric neurological education and how your project will help bridge them.

2. Detailed Methodology
Outline the specific strategies and approaches you will use to achieve your project goals. Include information about the curriculum design, delivery methods, and any innovative tools or techniques that will be utilized. Describe how your program will engage participants and ensure learning outcomes are met.

3. Comprehensive Budget
Submit a detailed budget that outlines all costs associated with your project, including personnel, equipment, software, and any related supplies. Be specific and transparent about the allocation of funds to demonstrate financial feasibility and responsible use of grant money.

4. Progress Tracking and Reporting
Grantees are required to submit a 6-month progress report outlining key milestones achieved, challenges encountered, and preliminary results. Additionally, grant recipients will present the outcomes of their project at the Annual Institutional Research Day.
​​​Grant Renewal and Review Process
Grants are initially awarded for one year, with the potential for a one-year renewal. Renewals will only be considered if justified by the progress and impact of the project and will require approval from the grants review committee. Renewal proposals should provide clear evidence of success, ongoing needs, and how additional funding will further enhance outcomes.
