Amerikick Board Breaking Fundraiser

We are beyond grateful to announce that our Board Breaking Fundraiser at Amerikick Park Slope (529 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215) on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 7 PM - 9 PM was an overwhelming success! It was an unforgettable evening filled with strength, laughter, and unity as we came together to honor Juliet’s memory in the most powerful way.

From start to finish, the energy in the room was electric. Participants of all ages took on the exciting challenge of breaking boards, pushing their limits, and embracing the spirit of perseverance and resilience. Beyond the physical strength displayed, this event was about so much more. It was about community, connection, and coming together to support a cause bigger than ourselves. New friendships were formed, and lasting memories were created, all while keeping Juliet’s spirit alive.

We owe a huge thank you to so many people who made this night possible! First and foremost, Ada, for organizing this incredible event with such dedication and passion. Your hard work did not go unnoticed, and we are so appreciative of everything you put into making this a success. A heartfelt thank you to Ricky, who led an incredible class and kept the energy high, ensuring that everyone felt empowered and engaged throughout the evening. Nadia, thank you for designing such a stunning flyer that captured the heart and spirit of this event so beautifully. And to all the senseis who generously donated their time and expertise, we cannot thank you enough for your selflessness and support—it truly meant the world. Of course, a very special thank you to every single person who participated, donated, and showed up to support this fundraiser. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and kindness made this event what it was.

Whether you broke boards, cheered on a friend, or contributed in any way, your presence made a difference. Because of you, we continue to honor Juliet’s legacy in the most meaningful way—by bringing people together, spreading positivity, and making a lasting impact.

This night was more than just an event—it was a celebration of strength, community, and love. We are so incredibly grateful for this amazing group of people who continue to show up for Project Juliet and help keep her memory alive. We can’t wait to see you all at the next event!
